How about right here....

My concerns:

1. Why would third party developers (say, ADOBE) spend tons of development money on OS X software when now every computer out there will officially be able to run windows.

2. Why would Microsoft bother to make OS X office when they can sell a mac user a "bundled" Windows OS/Office at higher margins?

3. Might this not cause OS X to take a back seat?

The possibilities:

1. Apple gains more momentum because some users like the security (!?) of what they know.

2. Dual boot Apple machine spread rapidly, people like OS X better, third party developers respond.

Thoughts?

Erm. What about all the PPC-based Macs still in use?

They could give up developing their creative suite for Mac OS, but that would open a market for someone else or even Apple itself to create Mac equivalents for their products. I'm rather confident Adobe wouldn't want that to happen. They will keep making Mac versions.

That's true for now, but how many apps are released for OS 9 which was predominant back in 2001. That was only 5 years ago. 2011 is just a blink of an eye away, we won't still have as many PPC based Macs in use then.

I forgot to add a link to the new one. TETENAL was roughly four of five minutes slower than someone else in the Lounge
