Hi. I just updated to 10.1 and decided to go ahead and do the 10.1.1 update while I was at it. It's starts to intsall but when it asks me to pick a volume to install the update on, the partition I have OSX 10.1 on is grayed out. Any thoughts? After reading the board, it sounds like I shouldn't do the 10.1.1 update. Thanks.

First, make sure you have restarted after having updated to 10.1. Next, make sure you have run the System Update a couple of times to make sure you get the Security Update, the IE update and the Installer updaters installed.

10.1.1 will not install on a volume that does not have at least the Installer update installed.

Hope this helps!

Scott
