As you all know, on Apple's Startpage, they list all the media-related websites that publish articles that rave about their latest hardware and software.

The newest headline reads as such:
“Apple iMac is simply the best”
Mike Wendland writes for the Detroit Free Press, “Apple’s new iMac running the new Intel Core Duo microprocessor is the finest, most reliable, stable, elegant and intuitive personal computer available anywhere."
After reading the article, I noticed this major typo in the article about 3/4 the way down:

"Apple's switch to Intel microprocessors (think of the microprocessor as your computer's brain and the Core Duo works like two brains) opens up the very distinct possibility that you will also be able to run Windows programs on these Macs, as soon as Apple upgrades its Windows XP operating system to the new Vista system late next fall."

Ouch. I'm surprised the editor didn't catch that.

Wendland is quite the Apple gusher nowadays. He used to used only PCs but he switched a few years back after buying an iMac G4. He praises everything Apple now, but still makes a few mistakes. Consider it a typo. He knows Apple does not make XP.

perhaps the MS code writers aren't as good as Apples so Apple will be re-writing the XP OS so it won't suck so bad???

They also forgot to negate a few of their adjectives, notably 'elegant'.

Makes for an interesting read.

Yeah, I saw his article. He's really trying hard to prove to the whole world that he's a big tool.
