I run boinc to crunch data with world community grid with my 2008 octo mac pro and seems I hit a snag with shared memory. Apparently this is the fix to increase the shared memory but not sure if this would affect anything else in OS X. Its not crashing my system but I do get errors and it does crash boinc periodically. Any help appreciated.
