Can 2 computers share the same iTunes library? What I want to do is move my library from my iMac to my mac pro (both in bedroom). I will use the mac pro to stream to my apple tv (living room) BUT I have my iMac direct connected to my mac pro over ethernet and want to be able to watch my movies on my iMac. Or is this a bad idea?

all you need to do is set up library sharing inside of iTunes, and select the library from the other computer. should be a breeze.

In addition to the built-in sharing mentioned by ide3308, if you want a truly shared library (one where both machines can both play and add to a common library, then you should put your music files in a "neutral" location free of any permissions (e.g. the shared folder on your Mac Pro, or on a separate drive that is network accessible by both machines) and go into iTunes preferences on both machines and set the library location to the new location.
