No matter what I click on (an item) I get:

Http/1.1 Service Unavailable
What the heck is going on?

Can anyone else get anything? My friends are getting the same thing.

Are you getting it, too, Kevin?

I didn't break eBay!

YOU did!

I'm working on CSS tonight for a website and it's pissing me off and I went to eBay to bid on some stupid book and a PowerBook bag and now I can't pull anything up.

eBay has some real losers running their system.

Yeh well its too bad if an auction you were bidding on or were running ends while it's down - you could have earnt more/won the item if it hadn't shut down.

Hmm... for the amount of traffic ebay gets I'm usually surprised at how well it runs. Now back to bidding on that hello kitty back rubber.

Yes, it is historical, isn't it?

My FIRST "dumb" thread.

Now, who's up for homemade chicken soup, cheddar biscuits, and cornbread? That's what's cooking in my house tonight.

The internet has been acting screwy for the last two or three days. Randomly, sites not responding, ISP email servers being unavailable for 1/2 hour, then back up, then down again. Maybe some kind of major DoS attack going on? Or is it just Cody and me breaking teh intarweb?

Maybe that's what it is. We're just breaking it. Right in half.

Okay, this thread is now about The 40-Year Old Virgin

Who has seen it and did you love it or what?

Cody, maybe your ISP is goofy? Most "site X is down" issues are more likely caused by ISP issues than the actual site being down. OF course most "I can't get online, what's wrong with my stuff" issues are ISP as well, but people still blame their hardware...

1. Rickey, you're great too.

I was only joking when I said that.

2. ghporter, no, it was reported on the eBay forums "Technical" site also. People are pretty upset by it, also. In fact, they're ranting and raving over there about a lot of things.
