Hi Guys

New part of the forum for me so hi.

I am new to Mac, having recently made the swap from the otherside.

Heres the question, will I be able to plug my 12" PB into the display on the new 20" iMac, giving me a nice display as well as a 'home' puter for the wife and kids to 'play' with.

Thanks

C

Unfortunately, no. That would make me get an iMac in a heartbeat, though, saving me $$$ over buying a tower (which is exactly what they had in mind, I'm sure).

Actually, they probably had in mind that this is an AIO computer and they don't want a huge monitor cable hanging out of it for no reason or a huge and ugly port on the back that almost no one will use.

That would work although it won't be that quick (plus depends what you would be using it for). You could try rdc and connecting your macs using ip over firewire to get a faster (supposed) 400mbits connection.
