Foxconn will handle about 70 percent of 4.7-inch iPhone 6 production in 2015, and is expected to start shipping units to Apple as soon as July of this year, claims Digitimes. The site adds that Apple's 5.5-inch iPhone will enter production a month later. In April, a similar report suggested that the 5.5-inch model would only start manufacturing in September. Digitimes states that Pegatron will handle the remaining 30 percent of 4.7-inch units. Production of an existing, unspecified 4-inch iPhone will allegedly be shifted over to Wistron.
The 5.5-inch iPhone has been largely absent from recent leaks, despite having been mentioned earlier by sources for high-profile publications like the Wall Street Journal. If production has been delayed though, as implied by several reports, it stands to reason that there would be fewer parts and details in circulation.

With all these rumours about larger screens floating around I'm starting to get a little worried. The article says "Production of an existing, unspecified 4-inch iPhone will allegedly be shifted over to Wistron."
There is going to be a normal sized iPhone 6, right?

Maybe it won't be called the "iPhone 6" specifically, or, perhaps the iPhone 6 will be the larger, 4.7" version while an "iPhone mini" will be the existing 4" form factor, sold side-by-side -- possibly mimicking the iPad lineup and how the two versions of the iPad are distinct and separate, yet are part of the same product family, largely differentiated almost exclusively by screen size.
In fact, this seems to be common trend across almost all of Apple's computer/tablet/phone products (with the exception of the Mac Pro): one category consisting of two distinctly-sized options (iMac 21.5/27, MacBook Pro 13/15, MacBook Air 11/13, iPad Air/mini).
