Apple on Thursday issued a rash of minor updates to various programs, at least some of which have been updated to add or increase compatibility with iCloud Photo Library. Apple has updated all three of the iWork for iOS suite and has updated Pages for Mac (and will likely issue matching updates for Numbers and Keynote for Mac), saying only that the update "includes minor stability and performance enhancements." Developers and testers have seen
photo uploading added to iCloud.com's iCloud Library.
Apple's developer tool iTunes Connect 3.0.2 includes "minor fixes," while Apple's Beats Music app for iOS has been updated to v2.3.1. Pages, Keynote and Numbers for iOS have all been brought up to version 2.5.1, while iMovie notches up to 2.1.1. Pages for Mac has been bumped to v5.5.1. While never explicitly mentioned except for the iMovie update, many of the app revisions are thought to be preparing to support the iCloud Photo Library through iCloud.com.
Developers have found that the iCloud.com beta site has been updated to allow image uploading from the website. Currently, users can only view, download or delete pictures. So far, only JPG files are supported, but uploads do propagate to a user's iOS devices as they would on other devices though the iOS Photos app. It is unknown when the feature will migrate to the main iCloud.com site.
