Go back to 5.9.11 if you still have the installer.

One Mac started running BOINC as a daemon after a reboot, the other didn't. Tried removing boinc from /Library/StartupItems and rerunning Make_BOINC_Service.sh script and it still doesn't run at boot.

I don't have 5.9.11. Went back to 5.8.17, no help.
