My brother owns a Sawtootth G4 with 1.2 GHz Sonnet processor upgrade. At this moment, he uses the original AGP 16 MB VRAM graphics card.
Is this Mac fast enough for VHS and TV capturing or will he have frame drops?

yea it should be fine, video capture and whatnot is much more CPU intensive than GPU, and the 1.2 is more than enough. Now, you might not be able to capture to divx or some compressed format in real time.

Upgrade the HD in the computer. That computer uses ATA66 connected HD's
