Hello,

are there any hacks, themes etc. to get rid of the stripes (and maybe the glossy menubar) in Tiger yet?

With 10.3 i still used Maxs "Smooth Stripes" applied with ThemeChanger which worked great.

Buy yourself a copy of Shapeshifter and choose a theme! (the Tiger updated version of Shapeshifter *should* be released sometime next week according to Smeger)

I do have bought a copy of Shapeshifter -- but on my working-Mac I dont want to use a real "theme", I just want to get rid of the stripes.

Well... there's no way of doing it that anyone has come up with, aside from theming.

Yes, you hack them out of the Extras.rsrc. and replace that with the original.

No need for Shapeshifter.

Just go get ThemePark.

That is what I did. *

*Themepark still needs updated for Tiger. There are a few resources that cannot be changed yet.
