I am looking for an app that can list the contents of a folder (ie. the filename of all the files in the folder) which can be saved into a text file. Even better if it can draw the directory structure.
Maybe it can be done in Automator but I couldn't figure it out.
Anyone know a solution?
thanks

Don't need an app for something this simple.
ls > myfile.txt
ls -l > myfile.txt if you want timestamps and want to see which files are directories

Just to clarify besson3c's suggestion. You need to run that command "ls > myfile.txt" in the Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal)

You can drag a folder into Firefox's window and it will list the contents, item sizes and modified date. You can select the info in the window and past it into a text application.
