Is there a way to make my Ibook have 2 monitors instead of just mirroring? I thought i saw somewhere long ago there was a hack for the mini vga to do that? Or am i talking out of my ass?

There is one (two, actually.) One way to get one is here. It's in German, I believe, but you can figure it out iThink (I did.) An English hack (but harder to get) is availiable here. If you have Mac OS 9.2, use this hack instead.
WARNING: If you apply the Mac OS X hacks to Rage iBooks (check Low End Mac or Mactracker to see which model you have,) they may break. The Mac OS 9.2 hack doesn't work with Rage iBooks eithier.

These "Rage iBooks" are the ones with ATI Rage video circuitry and only have 8MB of video memory.
