I am retiring MacGorilla. Its been a long, strange ride, but I am plainly sick of using a name that I created to promote a web site I longer have. E's Lil Theorem suggested I stop at 6650. I decided to be demonic and original and stop at 6.666. I'll be back soon under another name. Catch you on the funway!

After Gorickey, everyone that retires at some arbitrary post count number seems to be a copycat. Why bother retiring at all if you're just going to post with a different name?

Why not ask the mods nicely if you can have a new name? You've been here long enough and your reason is valid.

6,666 is hardly demonic.

This is a computer-generated message and needs no signature.

I retired and came back as another, but you didn't see me making a big deal of it.
Ok, I was retired without my consent but that isn't the point...

Silly melodrama.
Why is there always money for war, but none for education?

As Randman said, if you catch DH on a good day, he would probably change your name.

But for real, this "retiring/leaving/look-at-me" trend that seems to be going on is getting old.
