Very funny and quite worth while.

This five-minute spoof was also on FOX last night after The Phantom Menace.

It's a "behind the scenes" with the "actor" R2-D2: how he was "typecast", his "lost years", his "drinking problem", his "way with the ladies", etc. Done deadpan.

I thought it was whacked.

It's a serialized account of R2-D2's "this is your life" a la A&E's Biography (I believe there was a promo last night on Fox when it ran The Phantom Menace.).

The first episode is up and be sure to watch the promo.

Featured interviewees: Carrie Fisher, Francis Ford Coppola, Steven Spielburg, Natalie Portman, Hayden Christiansen, and others too numerous to mention.

See R2 in a bow tie! Feel his animosity towards Richard Dreyfuss! Weep at the rejection of his father!

(sheesh, and thanks Timo)

Spielberg
I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.
