I don't know exactly when this happened, but as I was attempting to make a new backup set through Retrospect on my XServe (now running Panther Server) to a Benchmark SCSI160 tape drive, I noticed that Retrospect could not see my tape drive. I checked the System Profile: neither the SCSI drive nor the actual card are visible, whilst they were before I upgraded from Jaguar to Panther Server!

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a driver that I need now with Panther?

Thanks a ton!

No one has ANY ideas about why I cannot see my OEM Xserve SCSI card?

Thanks.

Sorry man. Not many people frequent this forum.

Bottom line: all hardware, whether there are drivers for it or not, should show up in the Apple System Profiler. If it doesn't show up there, you have a hardware problem independent of software.
