Hi.

I just got wordpress, and its fine, apart from I cant go beyond normal text when writing a post or page, because i cant get the WYSIWYG editor in Safari, and i dont want to switch to a different browser. i have tried plugins that replace the original WYSIWYG editor, but none of them show up, apart from editormonkey, which shows on both pages and posts, but most of the buttons dont work.

Has anyone got round this?

not really.

there are a few hacks with a very primitive and limited scope, but I've yet to find a WYSIWYG editor that works in Safari because Safari doesn't support the javascript necessary to pull it off.

we can hope that'll be remedied next time around.
