Hiya peeps,

This is a distress call to anyone who is interested in helping a fella with a theme. I offered to help out, but I am really struggeling with business and family commitments

Giancarlo from Hybridrainbow is looking for someone to help him with his theme idea. http://www.magicmarble.kernelab.com/home.html

It's a really good idea and he's a top bloke, he's been pretty relaxed and not bugged me about stuff at all, but I feel a bit guilty about not being able to help out. I would rather the theme gets out and he gets a person who he can rely on. If possible I will help out with desktops and icons.

If you can help out here, please drop a note here.

Thanks

penguinn, I really think you should undertake a project like this; either realizing a mockup or porting over a windows theme. I think that it's obvious you know you're well around ThemePark and Photoshop to make plenty of you're own, very complete themes (I love iTunes skins), but none of your own designs have ever really struck me as looking THAT good (no offense, seriously..just my opinion).. But if you realized a mockup I think it would just look awesome..

Edit: I'm starting to like you're latest theme (Pure).

i have never ONCE said i could make a damn thing in photoshop -- which is why i don't. as long as i don't have to make anything in photoshop, i can do just fine assembling. which i might not want to. i suck at making things in photoshop. really bad. really really bad. i mean, look at my macthemes.net contest entry!

I think it looks better than Rawhide and a coupla other entries....... but yeah, it does suck.

Actually, if you squared off all of the edges and made the entire theme in black, white and gray, it would go perfect with the Simple Icons/Apps series. You could bundle them all together with your theme.

I'll try to get it done as quick as I can, It should move along pretty quick considering I'm not doing any graphics

Aslong as he send me PSDs on a regular basis I can plug them in and hopefully make it a really kickass theme!

so, mac15, you are doing it? but you wanted to do it without seeing a screenshot or mockup at all? well, good to see there's still some eager themers out there.

do you know if he's got a site anywhere else? or any other pics of a mockup that we can look at?
