Looks like Monster got it... I imagine Apple Legal might kick their butts though... I could actually see Steve just point it back to his .mac page.

Right, because Apple legal has so much say here...

Just like you, Apple is not the center of the universe.

While this is technically correct, I'm pretty sure that Apple legal would do if Steve Jobs commanded them to do so !

People's names are only trademarkable in conjunction with a product (Ben and Jerry's, Peet's Coffee, Martha Stewart Inc). Since there's no StevePod, he can't trademark it.

Obviously this is because Apple is buying Monster. You heard it here first.

Yep, and then they will have a monopoly on jobs. Everyone will be working for Apple. Horray...

Wow. I can see this becoming as widely spread as .tv and .biz TLDs. *duh*

Have you been touched by his noodly appendage?

I think these new TLDs are pointless. It just makes a new domain for the giant corporations to buy up. Which, I guess, might be the point. Easy way to make money.

The only TLD I supported was the .xxx , but when they said it would be optional and not required, I thought it was just stupid.
