I upgraded iLife to 08, and my iMac's memory to 3GB at about the same time. Since they iPhoto has been crashing continuously. I have to admit I have been using it quite differently too, going through all my old photos and rating them. This means working with quite large set's of photos.

Has anyone else had problems with iPhoto after the update? I have run memory tests for about 48 hours with no errors.

edit: It's currently at version 7.02

I was looking in to this a bit more. Seems iPhoto slowly eats up all my memory until finally it reads it's using 16TB and crashes. MDS is using a lot of cpu even though I added the whole volume to privacy in spotlight.

Who says the imac is limited to 3GB ram?
