Hello there,
I have an encrypted disc image that I made into a Stack. I have it set to display as 'List' so I can navigate the structure a bit easier. Something I have noticed though is that the icon for the stack doesn't always update to reflect the status of the sparse image (ie. if I unmount the image, it still shows the icon of the first item in the image). It used to work in that if the image was unmounted, I could select an item from the Stack list, and the system would mount the image and open my requested item. Now, if I select a directory in the Stack, I can't navigate down through the directory structure, I can only see the top level. If I select a directory on the top level, I get the error 'Application could not be launched -35'. If I click the Stack and select 'Open in Finder', it does the proper thing and mounts my disk image. BUT if I then select the stack, I still can't navigate the directories, and if I select one, I get this error, even though the image is mounted. The odd thing is that if I manually mount this image, and THEN select a Stack item, it STILL gives this error. It's like the system isn't updating the status of the disk image (and therefore this Stack) properly. The only way I have found to rectify this, short of logging out and back in, is to open a Terminal window, and 'killall Dock' then everything works as it should. Google has been no help on this error. Has anyone else seen something like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
