Hey there,
I've got a two-part question:

1) Can my B&W G3 use the D-Link DBT-120 USB Bluetooth Adapter with the Apple Wireless Mouse?

2) I see that the D-Link DBT-120 USB Bluetooth Adapter has a range of "up to 33 feet (peer to peer)" - is there an adapter that has a range with more distance (that will still work with my G3 and with the Apple Wireless Mouse)?

Thanks a ton,
BD

* My B&W G3: OS X 10.3.4, (Rev 2)

well, although Apple Store does not mention G3 B&W, I think it should work flawless, why not?

It is an usb 1.1 device after all. Info

Maybe someone here had it running on a B&W G3.

I had a D-Link BT adapter running on a rev. 1 B&W G3 with a 900MHz PPC750fx. Worked just perfectly with a BT mouse and syncing my iPaq.

there is nothing with a longer range since that is the bluetooth standard and not all bluetooth could even transmit that far even if the adapter could.

Triple-range Bluetooth adapters that are Mac-compatible are widely available online.

Can you give me a hand and recommend one? Even though I may find several, it would be great to have a recommendation.

Thanks,
BD

Yes the DBT-120 works great on my rev2 B&W G4/650 and panther, I use it primarily to sync my T68i phone book & mac address book, and as a remote control for iTunes.......been using it for almost 2 years now
Personally I find it hilarious that you have the hots for my gramma. Especially seeins how she is 3x your age, and makes your Brittney-Spears-wannabe 30-something wife look like a rag doll who went thru WWIII with a burning stick of dynamite up her a** :)
