I have a used iMac G5 1.8Ghz machine that apparently needs a new logic board. The machine has been powering on intermittently and according to the KB article from Apple, it needs a logic board. The power supply seems fine on the machine (first LED lights up fine). Over the past few months, when the machine didn't want to power on, the resetting of the PMU did the trick however it no longer works. As such, if someone has parts for this machine or can even just combine this with an existing machine perhaps they can at least make a single working machine.

I'm removing the hard drive from the unit (its only 3 months old )but the memory will stay in the unit. No keyboard or mouse with the unit either.

If someone can throw me a few bucks for it and pay for shipping (your choice), I'll gladly send it his/her way.

Any questions, feel free to contact me.

Thanks,
CJ

You MAY be able to get Apple to fix this for free, even if it's not under any warranty. Apple's been really lenient with me and my G5 (same model) because of the known problems that these have like this.
