Thank you for changing my signature for me. Now, not only have you labelled me as a violator of some sort, but you have made it a permanent message that I can leave every time I post..

why now? if it was a rule back when the boards were concived then it should have been inforced then. I am not saying that blocking sigs that are to big is a worng thing but still why now? what caused the enforcement?

Mine was too big as well (150px wide); I just fired up photoshop and resized the canvas. No big deal. Although, I still think there should be some area limit on the picure with some reasonable upper and lower bounds so that people can have more square-ish sigs if they want them; but I don't run the boards, I just enjoy them (and enjoy them, I do).

All is well.

It's probably a good sign for this place when the best thing people can find to complain about is their freaking sig.

sincerely.

This War on Signatures is just a distraction from the real issues. The moderators have been supplying Microsoft message boards with bandwidth..

Bah! If I could access my iDisk I would upload a new version.

I don't think it even matters. I surf this site from home using a crappy laptop that will only give me 31.2k access and the sigs are not a problem.

PS: Yeah really, this is bogus. If half the people hear have slightly bigger sigs than the rules, and NOBODY complains, then I think the RULES are the stupid part.

you refusing to change your sig, and outright ignoring demonhood's bumping of the "sig guidelines" thread until recently is what caused it

"Devil ether, it makes you behave like the village drunkard in some early Irish novel. Total loss of all basic motor skills. Blurred vision. No balance. Numb Tongue. The mind recoills in horror. Unable to communicate with the spinal column. Which is interresting, because you can watch yourself behaving in this terrible way, but you can't control it"

He's not cool with me. I say we jump him AND call him silly names. Before he edited his post he ratted out a WHOLE LIST of violators. Talk about a sell out.

this is because in response to having your sig changed the first time, you made a new sig which again was in violation of the size restrictions. it doesn't seem all that surprising that after such a poor response to a chance to realign yourself with the rules, you should be punished.

in good faith, taking this thread as assurance that your new sig will comply with the rules, i shall now unlock your profile again. need a i mention that betrayal of this trust will not be a pretty scene for anyone?
have a nice day

I made this thread this morning when I first found out my out of control sig was hijacked.. I agree that I should have scaled it down, but I honestly thought that the guidelines were "guidelines".. Thats your own damn fault Elz and DH..

I am not upset that you are enforcing sig guideline rules.. good for you if it makes you feel important. I am simply upset that you have singled me and others out to make an example of us.. AND on top of that, you hijacked a sig I made today that is within the guidelines..

[quote]but don't worry. you didn't miss anything. as one would expect from such a one as he, none of it was worthwhile. in any case, the "dumfuk" has just managed to make an example of himself by earning himself a ban.

was it worth it?
