This July, the US Armed Forces staged the largest war game of its kind. The opposing country, simply called "Red", closely resembled Iraq. According to retired Lieutenant General Paul Van Riper, who played the role of the dictator of Red, they US lost. But in good fashion, they resurrected the lost forces to continue the game. Van Riper quit after he realized the game was being scripted.

This is an interesting article. I'm not bringing it up to sway the debate either way. I just think this was interesting.
