Southpark was one of the greatest shows while I was in highschool. Second only to the Simpons. I think in terms of what Trey Parker and Matt Stone were trying to say about society, it was very effective.
so what are some of your favorite Southpark moments? mine?
- "Blame Canada" from B.L.U.
- Mr Hankey the Christmas poo (and the make your own Mr Hankey commercial bwaha)
- "Look out!! it's coming right for us!"
Southpark=awesome

Half of what I want to say, you already did... so I quote you
They did make a big point about society. They may have offended. But they made good points.
Amazing how many were offended by the episode that talked about priest sex abuse. And listen what the message was... go figure.
Remember the one where NAMBLA came to town? How many were offended? What was the point?
To be offended is to be ignorant?
Perhaps they showed how dumb some individuals are.

[Cartman's pot-bellied pig, Fluffy, and a drunk elephant are about to make sweet love]
Chef: Now children, gather around, and watch the wonders of life. The beauty of Mother Nature.
[Fluffy squealing]
Stan: Ahh, sick!
Cartman: Fluffy!
Chef: Hmm, now I know how all those white women must have felt.

I haven't seen a lot of the new Southpark episodes. Are they still making new ones?
About people being offended, you're absolutely right. People get offended mostly because they are confused about what someone is trying to say. Ex, people offended by Marylin Manson.

Now I'm gonna have to go out to Comedy Central's website to make sure that there will be more South Park. If not...oh, the horror, the calamity, the humanity! Well, maybe I exaggerate, but it's still one of my favorite shows of all time.
Mark says, "Two thumbs up!" To which Matt and Trey would probably add "...your arse!"

Bigger, Longer, and Uncut is one of my top ten films: incredible satire, great songs, and spoofy songs mocking the musical Les Miserables.
Cripes, my eyes are tearing from laughter just thinking about it...

i totally agree with you on that!
one of my favorite shows of all time.
a brilliant episode was the "thanksgiving" one with the "mutant" turkeys and the "island of dr. moreau theme".
i can't really remember who was in the dialog but it had to do with a microscope, and when asked what the person looking through it was seeing he replied:" an extreme close up of vanessa redgraves private parts"
chef was always great... *suck on my chocolate salty balls*
awwhh, it's been too long...fun fun fun

The "M" word.
Yeah they are still making episodes. Another new good one was with the kidnapper.
