See the small pic of the G5 and an Apple LCD display. Doesn't that display look to be brushed metal, with brushed metal feet rather than the transparent feet of current models?
Almost called this post "Confirmed!".

Nope, the pic is real, it's on an edu site. It just looks that way, but it's really not photoshopped.
Just an optical illusion. I don't think that they would simply modify the texture of the exterior, no way.

Yep, looks the same, there's no fire here. Besides, if Apple redesigns the displays, we can be sure that they won't just change the materials. There will be a different style too.

Apple has one of the best ergonomics with the iMac screen, but one of the worst with their Cinema displays ( you can't change the height or the angle of the screen without getting behind it ), If they redesign the case they will probably also improve it's ergonomics, so it's easier to adjust the height and angle of the screen to you personal needs ( I'm thinking of a motorized and fully remote-controlled-iMac-type arm ) ...
