just saw the posting on the engadget site. take at the videos, they are amazing!

you can manipulate objects onscreen with both hands at the same time while also receiving real-time feedback!

We're getting closer. Though the pad does seem interesting, I would think a graphics tablet is more precise for the type of people who need it.

Me too. I seriously would love to have a computer like that. It would be super interesting, and a whole lot of fun to play with. Its quite amazing how much work was done to make a 'realistic' future in that movie.
