After installing Safari 4, I lost all connection to the internet in all apps that use Webkit. Safari (4 and 3.2.1), NetNewsWire, the iTunes Store, Stainless, Software Update, Mail's downloading of images all won't connect to the internet. Meanwhile, iChat, Twitterriffic, Firefox and all Gecko-based browsers, Cyberduck, all connect.

How can I get Webkit re-connected? (And keep Safari 4)

I've rebooted about five times since. Uninstalled twice, Reinstalled three times, deleted plists, etc.

You've got something else going on. iTunes and Software Update are not Webkit apps. iChat is a Webkit app.

Yep, After about 45 minutes with AppleCare we figured out Safari had enabled Web Proxy.
