I burned a few discs from my files in Apple lossless.
Now my car CD player declines to play any of them.
I use Taiyo Yuden CDs, the one with the silver shiny top and the greenish storage side.
If I burn a disc from an Apple lossless file it doesn't give me any options. So I suppose it's being converted into an uncompressed file automatically. (The file size is double of the lossless file, which supports this).
What's your take on this?

My first guess would be the media and to try another brand/type. Cheap and easy way to eliminate one of the possible points of failure.
I've had issues with car CD players and burned media in the past.

So the file type would be correct.
I guess it's the CD player. It plays purchased CDs without a hiccup, but often gets stuck with burned CDs. Usually after the first two tracks.
But the new CDs he can't even recognize.
Well, I guess I'll have to get a new one.
