It goes like this:
I pick the mail account belonging to my business website in the message window.
I send it.
But Mail doesn't use this account I designated and set up.
It sends ALL mail from my gmail account. Which doesn't happen to have the same name address as my business.
Why does mail this?
I thought I could choose from which of the three accounts it would send mail. But choosing doesn't work. All mail goes from the same gmail account.

In your Mail account preferences (Accounts -> Account Information tab), do you have the correct outgoing mail servers at the bottom selected for each account or are all three set to gmail?

That's probably it. If you're using Gmail's SMTP server for all the accounts, it may change the headers to reflect your Google address.

Yup, it's probably this. If you want to ensure that mail uses only one specific mail server for a particular account, use the checkbox in the Account Prefs below SMTP server.
google's mail server uses your google mail address as reply to address (very annoying if you're forced to use this mail server for one reason or another).

No, the mail servers for the other accounts are definitely not the google mail server.
That would have been logical, but it's not it.
Google is a pop account, my website has imap accounts.
Could it be that the address of the mail servers of my website has changed and Mail just uses the only server that has a correct address?

1. I use two different names, one for my google account (not my real name, it's my web safety name), and my real name.
Now, if I send from my business account:
what's in the from-line: my real name, but the gmail email address.
Could it be that the mails are coming from my business mail, but the "from" line is not correctly set up?
2. In advanced, I don't have an imap path prefix.
Could this be the reason?
