I have both Microsoft Office 2008 and 2011 installed on my 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac on OS 10.8.4. I believe I synced my addresses from Entourage to the Apple Contacts list. I have double addresses showing up when I address envelopes for example. I have been hesitant about uninstalling Office 2008 fearing I might lose some addresses. Suggestions please! Thanks

Export your Entourage 2008 address book as a file. Select the Address Book, click on File, then select Export. There are a bunch of options, but just choose the first: "Export Contacts to a list (tab-delimited text). Once you've done this, even if deleting '08 loses your contacts, you can restore them in just about any mail program.
