Yeah. The whole thing makes no sense whatsoever. Even if they didn’t feel the drag, maybe glance at your side-view once in awhile?

Thread said person with the camera got the truck to stop.

There’s no way in hell a car can squarely get wedged under a semi trailer and the driver not know it. This smells funny.

It must have been below what the mirrors can see.

I’ve never been in a semi, but wouldn’t that be an area you’d want the mirror to see?

There are multiple points of failure here.

1. Plan the operation before sampling the wares.
2. Do a dry run first, to find issues.
3. Pockets are underrated. Bottles in pockets would leave hands free to open the gates.
4. No face mask for the cameras.
5. Anyone want to bet he locked his keys in the car?

The thing that looks like a gum-wrapper blowing across the road.

It’s not a gum-wrapper.

White lab mouse running on the road between the cars. It's easier to see if you full-screen it.

Might have escaped from a lab somewhere. If so, it was one of the dumb ones. Kept trying to hide under tires.

My cat walked over a candle once and lit her tummy fur on fire. That required a football tackle. Same cat also snuggled up to a 200W bulb and her fur started smoking.

Ironic, because in the comic it’s the dog who goes “this is fine”.

I honestly laughed out loud, which scared the cat on my lap enough that she bolted. Small claw marks on my leg will heal in a few days…

We had a “cat on fire” event once. A friend was there in the kitchen while we were shooing a long haired cat off the counter because we were cooking and gas stoves burn things, etc. The cat swept her magnificent tail past the burner and yes, it was on fire.

Our friend grabbed her, stuffed her into the sink and soaked her from hips to tail tip. She gave him a look like “I’d already gone out, dummy, so you didn’t need to drown me!”

In the video, the cat seems to be mildly upset by having its tail on fire, but not really distressed. The dog first looks like “hey, that’s not my fault!”, but then it’s more like “where are the people when you need them?”

It was the beard that threw me off too. I'd heard of the accident, but didn't connect the dots.

I thought he’s had the grey beard for years. Here’s his wiki photo.

That’s happened to me, though oddly less so if I go with my usual Van Dyke.

At his age though, I assume the curtains are a dye job.

Yeah, my beard went gray first. Then it looked “distinguished,” but now, if you didn’t know my hair color should be “dark brown with red highlights” you’d think it was “sandy” or even “dirty blonde.”

Anyway, from what I can see of the lines on the street, it looks like Ms. Prius was in the wrong lane…

Apparently Arnie rolled to land where he did, so no telling how everyone else got where they were, especially if they were trying to avoid a rolling Denali.

Not as serious as it looks, but it would make for a stressful drive. Most likely ending in a tow. He's probably in too high a gear to negotiate surface streets.

That roof looks pretty clean for having been in a roll.

Here’s another angle:

I’ve seen enough inexplicable crash photos to know it’s not impossible this was a roll, but it doesn’t look like one.

Yeah. Even if it can still be driven, sometimes your car tells you it’s time to pull over.

Yeah, when I was looking for info no one seemed to have any real details. The side curtain airbags being blown is suspicious.

The red prius is in the wrong lane... Even if arnie was about to turn left, he's still behind the stop line?

Yeah… it’s hard to see it being his fault considering where the Prius is.

It also looks like TMZ defines a roll as greater than 0°. I’m on team greater than or equal to 90°. Less than 90° is “almost rolled”, or “pitched”.

Apparently got up to 70. It slowed down once it hit an incline and someone jumped on and hit the brake. CV
