Here is a picture of my current setup. Its nothing much I'm spending 3 months in Vienna on business, and currently my 12 Powerbook is the only Mac I have access to - luckily my hotel has WiFi coverage!
I sent my Soul through the Invisible,
Some letter of that After-life to spell:
And by and by my Soul return'd to me,
And answer'd "I Myself am Heav'n and Hell."

That little amount of water won't harm a thing. A pool of water on the table would tho.

Actually, it was the corner of the table wet from an afternoon rain shower. I wiped the area off with a towel where I rested the PowerBooks as it's at a corner and didn't get wet as the part shown.

There's far more danger involved in the shots where people have drinks next to their PowerBooks as spillage can occur.

It was more to take a shot so a few seconds on the table together isn't going to hurt anything on the bottom of the books. But when I do go out to surf, I take along my Traveller Cool Pad.

People shouldn't assume things so quickly off the top of their heads.

And I wish I were rich enough to throw all caution to the wind. But even as you can see, my 17 cost enough that I can't even buy a new table for the patio as that one is weather-beaten.

I'm from the States, Albuquerque long ago (worked in quite a few towns, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Duluth, Minn, Hot Springs, Ark). I'm in Singapore right now but looking at some jobs elsewhere. I've considered and ruled out a job in Dubai, close to ruling one out in Bangkok and am mulling Hong Kong, Auckland or heading back to the US. I thought in transit was pretty accurate these days.

I was curious as why one would find nice tropical scenery this time of year. I'm in Denver (Aurora, actually). It looks like this during this time of year: clicky . Ugh.

Oh, I've done the snow bit plenty. That's why almost all of my past handful of stops have been in warm climes. It's actually quite cool here today, showers and 77 at 3 pm.

I went there. It was good to go and visit and I was tempted but in the long run, I think it would have been a hassle with the move and getting sorted and my fiancee would have had trouble finding something in her field (she's an actuary).

Um, 77 is not cool. To Michiganders, thats very nice and warm, and 77 is can get on the hot side depending on humid it is, and in Michigan, its always humid in the warm weather

Millen - do you have a picture of the cables to/from the 23er to/from your 12er? Where do you put the powerbrick of the 23er? I'm concerned about cable clutter.

Here are two pics of my setup. The pc is a 3.4G Prescott, 1G Kingston HyperX ram, Geforce 6800 GT OC, 2x80G Maxtors in RAID0, Abit IC7-Max3 m/b. Screen is a Dell 2005FPW (which I adore!).

My new Powerbook is a 15" Ultimate, 1.67G, 1G ram, 100G harddrive, and 128M video. I gotta say that I love my Powerbook! It's so awesome!

Click the thumbnails to get a larger image.

The PowerBook is a 15" 1.67GHz with a SuperDrive and an 80GB HD, along with 1GB of RAM. I ordered it on the 1st of March and received it on the 16th. I had to take it into the Apple Store to get the 'v' key replaced, as the top right clip was broken and it did not stay onto the keyboard. Despite being accused of breaking it myself, the repair took seconds and I have a brand-spaking-new 'v' key on my brand-spanking-new PowerBook.

The PowerBook on its first time out of the box (outside of when the reseller added the RAM). The pillow, I admit, is rather unsightly.

The first time the PowerBook has run in my presence. How exciting!

The PowerBook in closed-lid mode hooked up to my 21" CRT. Excuse the unsightly Microsoft keyboard, albeit a temporary replacement for another Microsoft keyboard which lacked a USB cable. Fear not, for I shall most likely get a Mac keyboard as soon as I find one that I find attractive.

A closer-to-the-PowerBook shot of the hookup to the monitor.
