If I upgrade then can i keep two harddisks inside PB or I have to remove one?
Does upgrading harddisk require an expert?
I am an experienced software developer and has dealt with PCs till now but dont have any idea of how complex upgrading a harddisk can become specially in PB.

OK, in the "let's see if we can answer this question ourselves" dept.
Think for a moment. Would Apple go to all the trouble to miniaturize a G4 into a Powerbook and then leave 20% of the space empty in case one day somebody wanted to add an EXTRA Hard Drive?
This would be like Chevrolet building every Malibu with space for an extra engine in case somebody wanted to hot rod one someday.
Does this sound like the real world?
Hard drive switch in PB is fairly easy, you will need a Torx set 20 and below,
There are little rubber bumpers that are easy to lose.
Don't rush and you should be fine.

I read somewhere that replaced intenal hard drive from powerbook can be placed in external casing.
What kind of casing is that?
Any link where I can take a look?

You can use any case that's made to fit a standard 2.5 inch hard drive. Here's one as an example, but you can find less expensive ones on the web--even at eBay. They come in USB only, firewire only, and combo. I'd recommend the combo case for a portable case.

This may be silly to ask.
So can I use the replaced hard drive using this case?
I am no able to get this: Internal hard drive wont be USB or Firewire based so how the casing will help it connect to the laptop.

The case that you put the old HD in has a bridge (adapter) that connects between the HD ATA port and the firewire and/or USB ports in the case.
