Um...the new unbox pics on the news page do not match the images on Apple.com. None of the 3G pics I've seen so far have shown that ugly black bottom on the white iPhone...please tell me these pics are phony (ha, no pun intended). I'd planned on getting the white, but not if it's half and half like that.

If you mean this photo then the one on the left is an original black/silver iPhone, not a white one.

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

I'm still furious they did away with the gorgeous steel look. If I ever upgrade to the iPhone 3G it won't match my MBP.
