evasi0n iOS 7.x Jailbreak - official website of the evad3rs

Updated to iOS 7.04 this morning and ran JB. Very smooth, no issues thus far. Waiting for apps/pics/music to copy back onto my phone via iTunes sync.

Hi,
Did you do an OTA update, or manually via iTunes before JB?

Is this the version which dumps Cydia for "mystery Chinese App Store"?

I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.
There is no way to know what has been changed, and what kind of nefarious activities are hidden underneath.

Yes, I guess. One article that I read said that only iPhones with Chinese selected as the language were affected. I got Cydia on my phone and not the other program that they were talking about.

I'm going back to just stock 7.0.4 for a couple reasons:

-Cydia and Mobile Substrate haven't been updated so can't really use any JB software right now
-'Other' has ballooned to over 4 GB now (32GB iPhone) so now I can't sync everything I had before the update -- I had about 2.5 GB free. I'm going to do a fresh restore and setup the phone as new this time instead of restoring from backup.
