At the Apple Store, the G5 pages still mentions Jaguar as the included software. When should I expect it to say Panther?

Yes, same for the Powerbooks - I wonder when this'll change. Did this happen last time they updated the OS?

I was at the panther party on Friday night and bought a dual.
It had an "up to date" pack inside the box for Panther.
The guys at the store said all Machines shipped after a certain date had them. (I don't remember what the date was) So it is very possible that you could go and buy your new machine now and walk away with panther.
Now, remember it wasn't pre-installed, it was just included. Jaguar was installed when the machine booted.

I bought a G5 on Friday night and got the Panther "flat-pack," which was a plastic bag slipped into the box. The box had a green sticker with a "P" written on it to indicate that Panther had been added. I suspect that Apple sent these to the stores to add to the G5s they already had.
