So like, what theme is that? I've seen a few screenshots but no one's mentioned it (and I never saw a thread about it).
Its called Cathode and its still in beta. Here is the thread .

looks good but it would have been nicer if you had have a few windows open so we can see how it looks, that shows almost only the desktop

I've only had my first mac for a couple of months now but thanks to this forum I had no trouble customizing the gui to what I want. I don't think it's too bad for my first try.
I know the plaster theme doesn't go with the desktop but I like the contrast. It makes it feel like 2 different systems, at lest to me.
Clean Desktop
Dirty Desktop
The Theme is Plaster (Vanoppen)
Icons are Translucent_System-Defaul (iconfactory)
Dock Icons are Serenity (DeviantArt) (Vanoppen)
Desktop Picture is spinnin_vinyl (DeviantArt)
Finder Picture is MBOTv5__anticipation (DeiantArt)

No need to apologize for how you like your system, I know that looking back I can't stand now how I set mine up when I first started themeing, (I'm a gui customization loser and have kept all my screenshots so that I can look back on them literally.)
Welcome and have fun with it. I like your style.

Hey,
What's the app that runs all the statistics you have on the upper-left of your screenshot? I don't see any Konfabulator about.
Thanks,
Oliver

That's GeekTool
It's a very powerful system pref. that can run scripts and even display pictures on your desktop from the internet. It's also displaying itunes song info in the upper right corner.

Nope only the blue, I'm staying true to the port with this one. One variant is enough And thanks for the offers of help but I've got this one covered guys.

Well, funny as this may sound, the funky-anything-but-minimal dock kind of blends in OK IMHO.
Nice DTpic.

I too love this Aero stuff, and it is a little embarrassing that MS came up with it, but has anyone noticed that the reason it looks so Mac-like is because it's very similar to the screen of the previous generation of iMacs? The whole rounded-clear-frame design is sort of a software version of the iMac's hardware. So while it may look like for once Redmond has come up with their own nice-looking GUI, ultimately it's still stolen from a Mac.

AZURE equals blue IMHO
So that's what you'd expect when applying it, right ? It's like Milk being a white theme.
I trust mac15 for making yet another fine port.

Yeah, I had figured that would be the case.
I guess I'll just have to make my own mod when it comes out, and call it REDZURE or AZURED or something.

What commands are you using to pull that info? I downloaded GeekTool a while ago but I don't know the command line well enough to know what to do with it!

Here are some of the ones I am using. Just copy and paste into the shell:command window of GeekTool.
CPU Usage:
echo CPU Usage:
ps -acx -o %cpu,command | awk '!/0.0/&&!/%CPU/ {if($1>t){t=$1;v=$0}} END{print v}'
Memory Usage:
echo Memory Usage:
echo `vm_stat | awk 'BEGIN { FS="[ :.]+"; k=1048576}
{ if ($(NF-2)=="of") p=$(NF-1);
else if ($(NF-2)=="free") f=$(NF-1);
else if ($(NF-2)=="inactive") n=$(NF-1); }
END { print int(n*p/k)"MB Inactive/ "int(f*p/k)"MB Free" }'` `du -h -I app_profile /private/var/vm | awk`
External IP Address:
echo "External IP:"
curl -s http://checkip.dyndns.org/ | sed 's/[a-zA-Z<>/ :]//g'
Wifi Stats:
echo WiFi Status:
echo `(ipconfig getifaddr en1 2>/dev/null) && ((netstat -Ien1 -bn && sleep 4 && netstat -Ien1 -bn) | awk '/Link/ { if (!i) { i=$7; o=$10 } else { i=$7-i; o=$10-o } } END { print "Down: " int(i/4096) "KB/s" " " "Up: " int(o/4096)" KB/s" }') || echo "DOWN"`
You can use any Terminal command you know to display it's output. You can also display any picture from the web. All you need is the picture url. You can use Weather radar pictures, stock market graphs, anything.

My Latest!
P.S: those of you that use wclock, has anyone noticed that it is slightly off center, it's closer to the bottom of the menu bar than the top... Is there a way to correct this?

It probably has to do with the difference between how it and other menu extras display text. Apple has some weird jiggery pokery going on with text in OS X, so it's not uncommon to have a menu extra like that display text in the "Wrong" position.
Granted, it could be specific to the app. I dunno.

Robert F, it is originally an XP theme called Royale Inspiriat by Stefanka, currently being ported to the Mac by Makki with permission form Stefanka.
You are just gonna have to wait a while for it

Here's wClock on the left and MenuCalendarClock on the right, both set with Eurostile 11 :
BTW : I like your screenie, very stylish. If you don't mind my asking :
- is that Butler next to the date ?
- do you keep your dock hidden ? Is it treated along with the rest ?
