If it was up to me I'd remove all Nicolas Cage movies, except maybe raising Arizona and Face Off. IMHO all the following are pure garbage...

National Treasure: Book of Secrets
Next
National Treasure
Windtalkers
The Family Man
Gone in Sixty Seconds
Bringing Out the Dead
8MM
Snake Eyes
City of Angels
Con Air
The Rock
Honeymoon in Vegas

I'm sure a left a few stinkers out

Nah, I liked The Rock and Honeymoon in Vegas. I would replace those 2 movies on your list with Ghost Rider and Face Off.

Slick shoes?! Are you crazy?!

I liked both National Treasure movies. But forgive me for getting to what I think is the point of the OP: how horribly bad is it so not even make sure the BEGINNING of a title is shown when advertising a movie for rent? That's just plain dumb.

And from what I hear, "There Will Be Blood" is a stinker too.

got my money that they move the "the" so looking for, say, the big lebowski requires a search of "b" movies.

There Will Be Blood is currently #14 on the IMDB 250 best movies of all time list.

And don't forget Matchstick Men!

Wait, I can't remember if I liked that or hated it... Oh well.

There Will Be Blood is a brilliant movie. Daniel Day Lewis is worth three times the price of admission. If most of the movies you like are in the National Treasure veign, you may find it a tad slow, but in my view it's just a brilliantly, methodical, piece of work.

But you're right - it is just plain dumb.

He may not be the best actor in the world but his movies are entertaining at least. Actually, there are only a couple of Cage movies I don't like.

I won't say most of my favorite films are like National Treasure, but the two of them are fun. Gotta love Hellen Mirren... On the other hand, I may be spoiled to There Will Be Blood because of the local reviews-apparently it's not terribly historically accurate (and some folks around here would know). Slow isn't as much a problem to me as accuracy in a drama, but I haven't seen it yet so I won't know until then whether I like it or not. If it stays around in theaters here long enough for me to see it.

With films like "Lord of War" and "Leaving Las Vegas" to his credit, Nicholas gets some really good reviews for his serious work. But having fun with your work is important too, right? He sure looks like he has fun with some of his films.

C'mon Face Off? That movie was worse than Vampire's Kiss. Soooo much wrong with that movie (and who told John Woo that being hit with a .38 caliber bullet could lift a man off the ground and carry him back 20 ft.??)

But he'll still get up again in a couple of minutes when the protagonist has turned his back.
