My scanner (see above) has stopped working under Leopard. I downloaded the latest drivers from the Canon site, but no joy - anyone got this working yet?
Thanks

I have a LIDE30, same thing. My solution was to get VueScan. It works perfectly, and you don't have to muck with crappy Canon software.

Thanks - this is a budget scanner though - it only cost 50 bucks, and it looks like vuescan costs another 40 - I think I'm just going to return it to canon.

OK, so after wasting more hours than I care to recount I have given up on Canon's useless tech support and useless drivers. I bought VueScan, and it works out of the box. Shame on you Canon - I'll never buy another scanner from you.

Thanks. The 25"Works with drivers from Canon" supposedly too, but since I upgraded to Leopard has no worked. VueScan actually did, and I would sooner pay the 40 bucks than spend all week on the phone to Canon tech support.

I'm glad to hear it - from my research on this, my guess is that you are running it on an Intel machine?

I'm running my 35 on my G4 iMac.

I did a clean Leopard install though. Did you do an upgrade or a clean install? I had some weird keyboard problems on my Cube with my Apple G4 Power Mac keyboard, until I reinstalled Leopard.
