Well I have 2 .mpg's I've downloaded, and every time I select them in finder, my finder freezes. They play just find, but I have to right click on them and select open. They're really annoying because the only way to move them is Terminal. I'm running 10.3. So has anyone else heard of this?

yes. and sucks to be you. There is a program on the big old interweb that fixes these kinds of mpgs. I lost it long ago and have yet to find it again. google is your friend, I wish you luck in finding it.

Try fixing them with Gumby (read the manual for which Gumby option you need to use).
