Does anybody know of a free utility to pull a font out of a suitcase and save it as a TTF or OTF file? I'd like it to be free and preferably command line based. I would be using this tool along with ttf2eot to generate font files used for CSS3 font embedding on websites.

Thanks in advance!

I would like to second this request. I've done some searching and have yet to find anything. I'm just taking an already made font, Helvetica Neue, and want to convert it to .ttf as I can embed into my site. Unless anyone knows where I can find Helvetica Neue Ultra Light in .TTF format? Thanks in advance!

Did you try Fontforge? I've found it invaluable for the ability to extract fonts from PDFs, even partial fonts.

Fontforge worked wonderfully. Very basic, yet extremely powerful. I can definitely see this coming in handy down the line. Thanks a ton!

I'll be sure to give it a try too, the next time I need some font conversion. Thanks for the suggestion!
