Like many of you, I'm not happy apple got rid of the camera roll. But I'm having a real tough time adjusting to the 'recently added' folder because i assume it's not working as it should. I updated to iOS8 a week ago.

Yesterday I took a handful of photos and they correctly showed up in the 'recently added' folder. Today I imported them into iPhoto on my computer and after the import selected to remove them from the device.

Now I look at the recently added folder on my phone and my pictures are not there. Why not??? I thought the recently added folder is suppose to show you all photos added within the last 30 days.

Simply put, recent added photos doesn't show all the recently added photos

You instructed iPhoto to remove the photos from your iOS8 device. Once they're deleted, they aren't going to show up in the Recently Added folder. Why would you think they would still be in there after having them deleted?

I thought Recently Added is suppose to replace Photostream.
If that was the case, my last "X" many pictures should always show up in the Recently Added section.

Or am i wrong? Where can the Photostream images be found then??

Kind of surprised that nobody had been able to answer this in days. I remember when this forum use to be THE forum. And it's users were plentiful and full of knowledge.
I guess things have changed.
