I've been having some kernel panics on an iMac i purchased a year ago.
I don't know how to read the crash log.

What is this?

Yup, AFP stands for AppleShare Filing Protocol, ie one of the built-in filesharing protocols.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

In the quick reply button, there's an icon that has three pictures. Upload your pic someplace, and hit that button, and feed it the URL. Dropbox URLs should be fine.

Have you changed anything lately, or have you had the KPs since the beginning. Have you ever reinstalled the OS?

I haven't changed anything recently and the crashes have been happening randomly for a long time. sometimes days in between, but consistent.

The uploading to a URL is what was confusing me. where am I suppose to upload my picture to? I don't have any accounts online to upload to.

It looks like a bug from Apple that is triggered by a low memory condition.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Right at the beginning, where the error type is "page fault". A page fault means that a virtual memory page is not backed by a real memory page. Normally this is not a problem - the VM system just needs to page in information from the disk - but here it apparently cannot do that. I read this as the execution happens in a code path that cannot tolerate paging - ie, the memory page should have been marked as "Wired", a memory page that should not ever have been paged out. That is then an Apple bug, but one that will only be triggered when that memory page is paged out to begin with - ie a low memory condition.

Another way to read it is that is that there is a hardware error in RAM. If so, you should run a RAM tester to check that your RAM is 100% OK.
