Hello everyone, just wanted to drop in, say hi. I am the proud owner of an iMac G5 (17"). I no longer like using Windows, so I said goodbye. Here I am.

I will probably have questions, probably a lot of them, so bare with me.

Run as fast as you can in the other direction.

If not.

Good luck.

Nahh, I am still here. I am just browsing the forums, so that when I do post a question, I don't get the flamed out of me.

There are some people who are pretty subtle at flaming. Sort of like the delayed-action zing! you get when somebody hits you with a line and you're ten feet away before it sinks in. Otherwise, it's all good.

Oh, and WELCOME!

Welcome. Hope you stick around.

(I'm not sure who it was (maybe CO?), but a while back someone pointed out that most folks who introduce themselves by creating a thread such as this one hardly ever stay very long. Unlike most folks that create threads to say "good bye" who come back very shortly. Heh, that, kids, it's what you call ironic.)

E's kind of on track. It seems like the lurkers that just start posting responses instead of announcing themselves are the ones that stick around. I started that way in April of 2001, and look where it got me! I'm supposed to be responsible around here!

If you knew me, and knew how much I DON'T know about computers, you would know that I am going to be here, probably a lot. I might not post that much, but I will be here. You see, I have this little addiction now, to message boards. I currently belong to about 8 message boards, not including this one. If you want to know about it, there is a message board about it. 5 automotive boards, and 3 cell phone boards, and now a computer board.

It all started with a simple hello on a board, and 1954 posts later, I am still there.
