Since upgrading to Panther, my screensaver never activates automatically! This is very annoying, as I usually use it with password protection for a bit of quick security if I forget to lock the screen (which is often).

I've got it set to activate after 15 minutes of inactivity.

It only seems to affect one machine... the other one works fine.

Any ideas?

Anyone else having problems getting Panther's screen saver to activate automatically?

It works fine using the hot corner, but never activates itself after the 15 minute timeout period.

My screen saver activates okay. It's set to come on after five minutes of inactivity. However, no matter how I adjust my Energy Saver settings, the machine won't go to sleep. The display will sleep, but the machine stays powered up. None of my settings have changed since Jaguar, so it's definitely a Panther issue in my case.

Mine will also not go to sleep by itself. I can force sleep, wake it up, etc. but no self-sleeping.

Screensave works fine.
