I had business in Toronto (actually Scarborough) Thursday and Friday. It was a short notice trip so I had little time to do any "homework" for the trip. Spent Thursday evening eating and drinking at a place called Three Monkeys that was close to my motel. Very good food ( I had the Drunken Mexican Duck) and I had a few Keith's drafts. A lot of people were there to watch Toronto and Florida play hockey.

Friday was just business and then back on the road home. I anticipate more trips to Toronto / Scarborough / Oakville in the near future. Any suggestions of "must do" activities while I am there? I will typically have just one weeknight evening for any activity.

Thanks.

Your question is hard to answer. Who are you? Do you party and do drugs? Do you sip whine and relax in fancy restaurants? Unless you paint a pic of yourself, hard to say. But, I would say, get a lap dance at Zanzibar on Younge Street, hit the Devil's Advocate a few blocks over for food and drinks, and go to the Hockey Hall of Fame. If you can see a Leafs game, then go for it. Other than that, Toronto is just a big city like the rest. Actually, it is suprisingly boring in the winter.

Toronto comes to life in the summer. During winter people stay at home and have dinner parties. Toronto has great restaurants, so if you like good food you're in luck.

No drugs. Food, drinks, sports, places of interest, etc.... I guess I was looking for that "must see, do, taste" answer. You are correct....big city, lots to do. Just trying to narrow it down a bit. Looking for that "if you are in the Toronto area, you must...." answer.

Scarborough is kinda yucky. Oakville is nice but the burbs.

Try to stick downtown or in the GTA.
