I'm considering getting this product... anyone have success or horror stories?
Seems like a much more flexible, much better alternative to Palm's delivered HotSync software....

I've used it a few times on some iPaq's and worked just fine...very easy set-up and software to use I thought...

The new version (4) is out today... that's what made me think about a purchase.

It actually doesn't ship until August, but if you buy the current Palm version you get a free upgrade to version 4. My girlfriend just got a Palm and I was going to buy the current version. Version 4 looks great. I absolutely hate HotSync Manager and Palm Desktop (horrible horrible software) so version 4 is a dream.

I purchased this product in order to let me mount my memory card on the desktop for easier file transfer and whatnot. It does exactly what it claims to do, and I've had ZERO problems with it.
A wonderful piece of software.

It looks great. I'm thinking about register Missing Sync 4.0 to use my SD cards mounted in desktop, and use it with iTunes and iPhoto too...

I've used The Missing Sync for Clie in the past. Worked fine.
I currently use The Missing Sync for PocketPC, and it also does its job just fine. My only (small) complaint is that I can't get bluetooth syncing to work. Otherwise, no real complaints.
The rumored Treo "Ace" sounds really cool though, so I may be looking at TMS 4.0 sooner or later.
